Internal bench testing was performed on the mechanical characteristics of the Gazelle coronary stent system to support data published on the mechanical characteristics of the BioMatrix™ DES in the report. The internal bench testing concluded that the mechanical characteristics of the Gazelle stent are not impacted by the addition of the drug/polymer coating.
